A Christmas Collage of Art and Music

All the different elements of the first Christmas events have been re-imagined by artists down through the centuries and many of those paintings appear on our Christmas cards year after year.

Dr Nigel Halliday is a retired Church leader but also an expert in art history, especially art portraying Christian stories and themes. At this event he will present a lavishly illustrated talk showing how the familiar Nativity stories have been captured by different artists at different times. There will also be some beautiful Christmas music.
