Get involved - teams at All Saints

Giving your time or expertise at All Saints will help us to reach the next generation, inviting them to follow Jesus. You can give in so many ways. We have listed a few below and there is a form at the end to get in touch and make suggestions.

Children and Youth

We have lots of children and youth at All Saints and we want them to grow as followers of Jesus. We see children and youth as full participants in the kingdom of God. There are groups that meet on Sundays and midweek. (All roles with children and youth are subject to safer recruitment processes and a DBS check).

Welcome Team

On Sundays we have many visitors to our services and we want make everyone feel really welcome. The welcome team act as hosts at each service, ensuring everyone is greeted and providing refreshments and information. They are often the first and most significant point of contact for visitors.

Tech Teams

The tech teams work in the background on all aspects of audio, video as well as websites and media etc. This helps us to reach people on Sundays and during the week. These roles are low profile but have a huge impact. If you have some expertise and a little time then we would love to talk about how you can help.

Worship

Our Sunday musical worship is right at the heart of what we do as a church. The 9am service is usually led on the organ with a small band. Our 11am and 6.30pm services have a full band each week. If you have a heart for worship then we would love to hear from you.

Flower Team

A great deal of pleasure is derived from the flowers that are on display in the church building. Throughout the year there are opportunities for more creative displays to accompany our Harvest, Remembrance, Christmas and Easter services. They are put together by our volunteers who have passion / skill for flower arranging. If you do too, or would simply love the opportunity to work alongside and learn from those that do, then the team would welcome a few new faces to join them.

Admin/Church Office

The Church office has a core team of paid staff who support the work of All Saints and run the Centre and Hub. There are always additional things that need to be done. So if you have some time or a specific skill that you think could help, then please get in contact.

Building Maintenance

All Saints Church and Centre are old buildings and are often in need of repair and maintenance. The larger tasks are done by professional contractors. But we have a long list of small projects that need to be done around the place. If you could help, either giving your professional skills or just because you are willing then please get in contact.
