Nigel and Pat are preparing to move on from All Saints

After over 30 years at All Saints Nigel and Pat Rawlinson have decided that it is time to move on.nigel

Nigel has been employed as the Chaplain at the University of Bath since September 2016. This work involves visiting many other churches across the city and living on the university campus. So Pat and Nigel need to find a place where they can worship together that is closer to home.

They have been here for over 30 years (36 for Pat) and Nigel came back to faith at All Saints. I am hugely grateful for all they have given during that time as a couple and in Nigel's role as Associate Minister, especially in recent years during the interregnum. It has been a joy to work with Nigel and both of them have been completely supportive, gracious and generous to both Meghan and I. We know that we can all look forward to continued friendship as part of one church family in Bath.

Nigel Writes:

“All Saints is a ‘life foundation church’ for me, and our family. Self supporting ministry and chaplaincy is faith work "outside church",Nigel Rawlinson and can be lonely. I have felt amazing support and prayer over the years. Thank you. All Saints is also a sending church, and we believe that now is the time to begin the next era. We are joining the Bath Abbey community. There are increasing links between city centre churches and the university. Pat and I will follow the developing new life at ASW with joy and prayers.”

Mark Writes:

“Although we all will miss having them around regularly at All Saints, this move feels completely peaceful, timely and inspired by the Holy Spirit.”

Their last Sunday will be 14th July, Nigel will be speaking at the morning services. We will have a church family BBQ on that Sunday lunch time, so block out your diaries now.
