ROCK UPDATE Planning, chairs and prayer

Planning process

Last week we had a very constructive meeting with the planning officer and her supervisor to update them on the changes we have made since our second pre-planning application. Thank you for praying for the meeting. It was agreed that the direction of travel is positive. We have agreed to submit another pre-planning application next week. We will hopefully reach the formal planning application by summer 2019.

Chairs

As part of the plans for re-ordering the interior of the church building , the ROCK team are now looking in more detail at new seating. We will have a selection of chairs in church for five Sundays between Feb 3rd and March 4th for people to view and sit on! There will be an opportunity for you to provide feedback on the seating which will help to inform decisions further down the road.

Prayer

Please keep on praying for the team, the planning officer and most importantly that all this work would reimagine our church for the kingdom.
